Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team at Memorial hospital AND MANOR. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive speech and language services to patients with a range of communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical history, speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care to achieve patient-centered outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and peers on rehabilitation processes and alternative treatment methods.
  • Document patient progress, treatment plans, and evaluations in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support and mentor speech interns and provide in-service training to enhance team knowledge and skills.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution with certification in Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • A minimum of two years of experience in adult speech-language pathology, with expertise in Modified Barium Swallow exams and Video Fluoroscopic Swallowing Exams.
