Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in New Mexico. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of students with occupational therapy needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students' occupational therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans to enhance fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services, monitoring and adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal student outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support holistic student development and ensure a cohesive approach to student support.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain thorough documentation and records of services provided to students.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Licensure: Masters degree in Occupational Therapy and valid OT license or eligibility for licensure in New Mexico.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and other professionals.
  • Experience: Experience in a school setting is an advantage, but not mandatory.
