Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional care and customer service to residents.
- Assist nursing leadership in planning and operational management of the facility.
- Assess residents' conditions and develop individualized care plans.
- Document observations accurately in Point Click Care (PCC).
- Ensure compliance with medical records, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct regular rounds on residents, evaluating symptoms and treatment responses.
- Provide a range of treatments, including wound care and IV therapy.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This role includes general supervision of CNAs/STNAs, including training, counseling, and disciplinary actions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse is required.
- CPR certification is mandatory.
- One year of professional nursing experience in long-term care is preferred.
- Knowledge of state nursing regulations is advantageous.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong organizational and time management skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Basic computer proficiency is required, and familiarity with federal and state nursing laws is beneficial.
