Job Summary

The Finance Director will be responsible for overseeing the financial accounting systems for the group and coordinating the interface of the group's accounting system with the corporate financial accounting system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develops plans and objectives with the VP of Finance and department staff regarding short and long-range accounting programs.
  • Coordinates the group's financial accounting functions to ensure accurate recording and reporting of clinic/physician financial information.
  • Maintains the group's chart of accounts and controls the assignment of entity numbers.
  • Works with the leadership to develop operating units' accounting policy and procedures.
  • Develops and approves financial statements, including balance sheets, profit/loss statements, and analysis of trend and budget variances.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or other related area.
  • More than 7 years of professional experience in accounting and auditing as a supervisor, including two years in a healthcare organization.
  • CPA certification preferred.
