About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and advocating for the health and wellbeing of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Comprehensive Patient Care: Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, administer immunizations, and provide counseling to patients on their medication needs.
- Advocate for Patient Health: Develop relationships with patients, understand their unique needs, and provide personalized care and support.
- Lead by Example: Model excellent customer service skills, provide guidance and training to pharmacy staff, and promote a culture of patient-centered care.
- Stay Up-to-Date: Stay current with the latest developments in pharmacy practice, including new medications, treatments, and technologies.
- Pharmacy License: Must be licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of employment.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
- Immunization Training: Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program.
