We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professional to join our team at ResCare Community Living. As a DSP, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals with disabilities in a home-like setting.

Responsibilities
  • Perform personal care tasks, including feeding, ambulation, and medical monitoring
  • Assist with fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their housemates
  • Ensure client safety and maintain a safe environment
  • Encourage self-help activities
  • Accompany clients to scheduled appointments
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in a group home, home-like setting
  • Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external

ResCare Community Living has four decades of experience in the disability services field, providing support to individuals who need assistance with daily living due to an intellectual, developmental or cognitive disability. Our community living services are provided in 27 states with several thousand programs and a comprehensive range of high-quality services.

Working Conditions

Most overnight shifts are sleeping shifts, 10pm-8am (includes 2 hours of awake time paid at $15.75/hour) or 11pm-7am. Salary Range: USD $11.45 / Hour.
