We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our adult Orthopedic spine surgical practice in St. Louis, MO. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with our dedicated Orthopedic surgeons and support staff. Our ideal candidate is a motivated and independent provider who is comfortable working in a team setting and is committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
About the Role
- Conduct patient exams and evaluations for adult spine surgical disorders, including medical history, physical exams, and review of pertinent medical records and imaging.
- Order and review tests and labs, formulate diagnosis and treatment plans, and educate patients on their diagnosis, treatment options, and rehabilitation exercises.
- Assist with patient care management, including surgical first assist in our ambulatory surgical centers.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- PA license in MO.
- Orthopedic, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, or Pain Management background is a plus.
