About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technician to join our team at TotalMed Staffing. As a Nuclear Medicine Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring patient safety and accuracy in nuclear medicine settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for imaging purposes.
- Operate gamma cameras and other nuclear medicine equipment to acquire images.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, providing clear instructions and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic information.
Requirements
- ARRT (N) certification
- BLS certification
- Two years of recent Nuclear Medicine Technician experience
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
