Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Disability Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a vital role in managing disability and leave cases, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and providing guidance to employees, managers, and HR. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage leaves and accommodations for employees, ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws, company policies, and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Serve as a confidential resource for employees, managers, and HR partners regarding leaves of absence, disability options, policies, procedures, and related issues.
  • Approve or deny leave cases based on medical documentation and maintain accurate records in claims systems.
  • Track leave timelines, usage, and entitlement limits, and communicate clearly with employees about leave details.
  • Engage with employees, health services, and medical providers to obtain necessary documentation and facilitate return-to-work options.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in Human Resources, Disability Management, Human Resources Compliance or related compliance work experience.
  • Demonstrated content expert knowledge of state and federal disability laws, including ADA, FEHA, FMLA, CFRA, PDL, and Workers' Compensation.
  • Ability to consult regarding confidential and complex issues.

Estimated Salary Range: $118,272 - $199,608 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
