About the Role

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Histology Technician to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Histology Technician, you will be responsible for performing various technical and related duties in the histology section of the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform histological and immunohistochemical techniques, including special stain and immune/histochemical techniques.
  • Prepare various reagents and stains utilized in the laboratory.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient and accurate results.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of laboratory results.
  • Stay up-to-date with new techniques and technologies in the field of histology.
Requirements
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree and HT (ASCP) or equivalent registration required or eligibility for registration.
  • Relevant education transcripts required.
  • Demonstrated competency in all special stain and immune/histochemical techniques.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience preferred.
