Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Peace Psychiatric Services PLLC. This part-time position involves working with individuals facing various mental health challenges, including addiction, trauma, and emotional distress.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality therapeutic services. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and dance therapy.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in compliance with clinic policies and relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care.
  • Engage in crisis management when necessary, providing immediate support and intervention for clients in distress.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health treatment, including knowledge of ICD-10 coding and medical terminology.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Valid licensure or certification as a Mental Health Therapist or Counselor.
  • Experience in mental health counseling, with a focus on crisis management preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical documentation practices and terminology.
  • Knowledge of ICD-10 coding is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

This part-time position offers a competitive salary of $65 per client, with a minimum expected commitment of 20 hours per week.
