About the Role:

• Monitor the welfare of passengers while in route and communicate any behavior problems or conditions of various stops with the driver.
• Assist in pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Cooperate and communicate with school personnel, students, and parents to ensure a smooth and safe transportation experience.
• Attend all safety and training meetings to stay up-to-date on the latest procedures and protocols.
• Conduct emergency evacuations from the bus, including the use of exiting by emergency door.

Requirements:

• Good verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with students, parents, and school personnel.
• Attention to detail to ensure safety and efficiency in daily operations.
• Early morning availability to accommodate our early morning routes.
• Judgement/problem-solving skills to handle unexpected situations and make sound decisions.
• Ability to manage high degrees of stress in a fast-paced environment.
