**About the Position:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursing Department Director to join our leadership team at Signature HealthCARE, LLC. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our nursing department and play a critical role in shaping the future of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve the quality of care provided by the nursing department.
- Collaborate with the medical director and other stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide coaching and guidance to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to resident care, including the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and other relevant documentation.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience in a long-term care or acute care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with staff, physicians, and other stakeholders.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing, with required current state license.
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in long-term care and/or acute care setting required.
