**Job Summary**

HHS is seeking a skilled Housekeeper/Floor Tech to join our team. As a key member of our Environmental Services department, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

**Responsibilities**

  • Perform daily cleaning procedures in assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting.
  • Operate floor care equipment, such as buffers and extractors, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Respond to Housekeeping pages and perform tasks as assigned by the department Director.
  • Record work completed on Area Assignment Checklist.
  • Polish assigned area at the beginning of each shift.

**Requirements**

  • Able to lift 40 lb. frequently.
  • Capable of standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift.
  • Capable of pushing and pulling a maid cart, linen cart, or various equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift.
  • Must be able to handle/interact with all chemicals used (i.e., bleach, wax, Virex, etc.).
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and other hours as needed per assigned area.
  • Must have communication skills in English.
