Hospice Nurse Residency Program Specialist

Care Dimensions' innovative nurse residency program offers a unique opportunity for new nursing graduates and experienced nurses to develop their skills in hospice and palliative care. The program combines classroom education, field visits, and patient care with the mentorship of a dedicated preceptor.

**Program Details:**

* New nursing graduates will participate in a six-month residency, focusing on developing their hospice expertise.
* Experienced nurses will have a three-month residency, building on their existing knowledge and skills.
* The curriculum includes classroom lectures, simulated patient care scenarios, field observations, and guided mentorship.
* Training will be based out of our Danvers and Lincoln locations.
* Nurse residents will be employed at Care Dimensions during the residency and, with successful completion, offered a full-time position in an LPN or RN Case Management role.
* Eligibility to sit for national certification in hospice and palliative care (CHPN).
