Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Provide guidance and oversight to nursing staff on weekends, ensuring that resident care requirements are met and that the nursing team is functioning effectively.
- Resident Care: Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote resident independence and well-being.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and healthcare staff, providing clear and concise information and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and other relevant documentation.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance resident care and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Education: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of New York.
