Job Title: Community Companion

About the Position:

The Arc of Prince George's County is seeking a Community Companion to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. As a Community Companion, you will provide assistance with daily living skills, transportation, and community integration.

Responsibilities:

* Provide support with daily living skills, such as personal care and hygiene
* Assist with transportation to appointments and community activities
* Encourage community integration and participation
* Provide training and assistance with safety skills and daily living skills

Requirements:

* High school diploma
* 1 year of related experience working with children or adults in a care-giving setting
* Good driving record, reliable vehicle, and current Maryland Driver's license
* Ability to successfully complete training requirements of The Arc
