Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist to join our team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, achieving high-quality images, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
  • Communicate effectively with patients, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals
  • Prepare scan rooms and equipment for procedures
  • Administer contrast materials as prescribed by physicians or in approved Radiology protocols
  • Perform quality control tasks to ensure equipment and procedures meet standards
  • Stay up-to-date with organizational, affiliate, and departmental changes and updates
  • Provide clinical instruction to staff technologists and students
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • ARRT registered in Radiology & MRI, or ARRT registered in MRI, or ARMRIT-American Registry of MRI certification
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in database management
  • Mathematical skills and ability to perform data entry
Work Environment
