Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Technician II to join our team at Lexington Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing care team, you will provide direct patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient support for various activities, including nutrition services, transport, daily hygiene, mobility, and data collection.
  • Participate in interventions related to the patient plan of care.
  • Report changes in patient condition and observations relevant to patient needs.
  • Provide a comfortable environment of care in accordance with unit standards.
  • Prepare rooms and equipment for expected admissions, assist with admission procedures, and orient patients to their environment.
  • Assist with all activities of daily living for patients, including changing linen and making beds, organizing the patient's environment, and performing other personalized services within prescribed limits.
  • Prepare patients for discharge/transfer by obtaining necessary equipment and gathering belongings.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 1 Year of experience as a nurse tech.
  • BLS required within the first 90 days of hire.
