We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team at Norton Sound Health Corporation. As an Audiologist, you will play a critical role in providing audiological clinical and educational services to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Comprehensive Audiology Services: Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations, electrophysiologic tests, vestibular evaluations, and amplification selection and fitting as appropriate.
- Assess and Diagnose Patients: Gather and record data, prepare reports, bill for services, and maintain a file management system.
- Promote Audiological Health: Participate in activities that promote audiological health and hearing loss prevention.
- Educate Patients and Families: Educate patients and families regarding audiological wellness.
- Perform Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Education: Au.D or M.S. or M.A. in audiology (may be accepted).
- Experience: General (Non-supervisory) and Supervisory experience (if indicated).
- Credentials: State of Alaska Licensure; Successful completion of Internship/Externship in program accredited by the Council for Academic Accreditation (CAA) in Audiology or the Accreditation Commission for Audiology Education (ACAE).
- Work Environment: Standard clinical environment with exposure to latex, biohazard, or other harmful substances.
- Travel Requirements: Moderate travel required (between 25% and 50% of the time) via large aircraft and small (less than 16 passenger) aircraft.
