Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team at Autism Health Services. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy and related services to individuals diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings, utilizing a combination of intensive staff and natural environment training arrangements.
  • Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
  • Follow and record data for prescribed protocols.
  • Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior after every session.
  • Effectively communicate with the BCBA regarding client progress as instructed or any parental concerns.
  • Utilize safe and appropriate procedures (Safety Care) when working with students.
  • Maintain client confidentiality.
  • Assist BCBA in preparing client materials as instructed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
  • Collaborate with teams including clinical meetings when appropriate.
  • Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required training.
Requirements
  • A valid driver's license.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children aged 3-21 years providing 1:1 setting (preferred).
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in psychology, education, ABA, or related field (preferred).
