Behavioral Interventionist

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Caregiver and Support Specialist to join our team at A Place of Grace, Inc. As a member of our staff, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of adults and seniors with developmental disabilities.

This role involves working with individuals who have developmental and intellectual disabilities, as well as forensic concerns. Your responsibilities will include attending to residents' needs, supporting their goals, administering medications, and maintaining records. You will also be responsible for supervising community outings, preparing meals, and advocating on behalf of residents. Additionally, you will need to possess Nonviolent Crisis Intervention skills to manage assaultive behaviors.

The estimated salary range for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 per year. To be successful in this position, you will need six months of experience providing direct supervision or special services, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work weekend, holiday, and overnight shifts. RBT certification via BCBA supervision is mandatory. Applicants must meet Title 22 requirements, including age, education, health screening, fingerprinting, and valid California driver's license.
