About the Role

Tetra Tech is seeking a highly skilled Energy Efficiency Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive energy management services to our clients. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying energy conservation opportunities and implementing projects that reduce energy consumption and demand, saving money and helping the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement energy efficiency improvements for facilities
  • Conduct daily energy audits and identify energy conservation opportunities
  • Develop distributed generation opportunities and renewable energy projects
  • Provide energy training and perform design reviews
  • Analyze energy and utilities data and recommend improvements to energy and utility procurement
  • Recommending operations and maintenance improvements
  • Write technically sound audit and other reports
  • Support the implementation of energy projects
Requirements
  • 5-12 years of experience in energy management or energy engineering
  • Strong HVAC background and experience with energy auditing, project development, life-cycle cost analysis, direct digital controls, commissioning, microgrid planning, performance contracting, and building/system optimization
  • Previous experience working at Federal / Department of Defense facilities, particularly Marine Corps or Navy bases, is a plus
  • Knowledge of utility information systems, energy management technologies, and metering
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to produce technically correct finished work, including technical reports, white papers, metrics, and briefs
  • Proficient computer skills, including the use of spreadsheets, especially MS Excel, and other database applications
