Job Summary:

We are seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in our Montvale, NJ location. The successful candidate will provide expertise in blood draws and specimen preparation, ensuring high-quality care for our patients and those of our partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and store specimens according to established procedures
• Explain the process of venipuncture and other specimen collection in a clear and courteous manner
• Demonstrate technique using straight needles and/or butterfly needles
• Understand and comply with OSHA and DEP regulations
• Wear appropriate attire, including PPE
• Attend annual department trainings
• Answer telephone calls and read laboratory results to satisfy inquiries

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed (as required by state)
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent patient interaction skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
