We are seeking a highly skilled Thoracic Radiologist to join our team at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. As a key member of our Department of Radiology, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting research, and training graduate and postgraduate students.
About the PositionThis is a full-time, night shift position that requires the interpretation of plain film radiography and CT scans. The successful candidate will contribute to the day-to-day clinical operations of the Thoracic Imaging Division, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to clinical and imaging operations.
Responsibilities- Interpret plain film radiography and CT scans
- Contribute to the day-to-day clinical operations of the Thoracic Imaging Division
- Provide high-quality patient care
- Contribute to clinical and imaging operations
- Conduct and provide clinical instruction, lectures, seminars, and related educational offerings
- Collaborate with faculty and leadership in the Division to develop and refine medical student, resident, and fellow training opportunities
- Serve as a mentor and sponsor of residents, fellows, and faculty in the Department
- Support clinical and translational research activities and innovation
- May serve as PI or Co-I in grants and/or clinical trials
- M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree
- Board certification in Radiology (ABR, AOBR)
- Subspecialty fellowship in Thoracic, or equivalent experience
- Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio
- Must support and embrace the diverse and inclusive culture of College of Medicine, the Medical Center, and the University
