Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Power Electronics Specialist to join our team in Oak Creek, WI. In this hybrid role, you will design and develop power electronics systems for industrial applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in designing motor control and test systems. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and deliver innovative solutions that meet their requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop power electronics systems for industrial applications
  • Develop electrical and mechanical drawing packages for industrial motor control and battery testing/simulation systems
  • Verify conformance of components and systems to customer specifications
  • Complete load, voltage, amperage, and heat calculations to ensure proper design
  • Create system bill of materials
  • Work with Purchasing and Vendors to evaluate alternate components

Qualifications:

  • BSEE or Engineering Degree in Electrical Field
  • 3+ years specifying components and systems used in electrical designs for applications involving power electronics and/or voltages of up to 460 or higher
  • Experience with design of motor control and test systems

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $110,000 - $135,000 per year. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
