Job Summary

This position is for a night shift nurse, working 7PM-7AM.

As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will collaborate with the physician and healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans

• Provide professional nursing care to patients, including assisting with exams and treatment, patient education, and maintenance of medical records

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing

• Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing

• Certified in Basic Life Support

• Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements

• 1-3 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery Nurse

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and exceeding expectations
