Job Summary

Townsen Memorial Hospital is a leading healthcare provider with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse OR Circulator to join our team at our Kingwood, TX location.

The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, effective communication, and a deep understanding of the intra-operative nursing setting. They will be responsible for developing and implementing patient care plans, collaborating with the surgical team, and ensuring a safe and efficient operating room environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update patient care plans in partnership with the patient and family
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Manage patient assignments and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient operating room flow
  • Report near misses and errors to improve systems and processes
  • Supervise and direct patient care in a single operating room

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Intra-Operative Care
  • Registered Nurse in the State of Texas; License must remain active and unencumbered while employed
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
