Job Overview

Join Dogwood Industries LLC as a Lead Welding Quality Control Specialist In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all welds meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

You will work closely with our engineering, fabrication, and quality teams to develop and implement welding procedures, inspect welds, and conduct audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.

As a Lead Welding Quality Control Specialist, you will have a strong understanding of AWS D1.1/D1.2, AISC, and welding procedure development. You will also have experience performing visual (VT), magnetic particle (MT), and ultrasonic (UT) inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement welding procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Inspect welds to ensure quality and safety
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with industry standards

Requirements:
* Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification
* Experience in steel fabrication or general construction
* Strong understanding of AWS D1.1/D1.2, AISC, and welding procedure development
* Experience performing visual (VT), magnetic particle (MT), and ultrasonic (UT) inspections
