A DAY IN THE ROLE OF A CLINICAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
The Clinical Research Associate (CRA) plays a vital role in managing the daily operations of sites involved in our clinical studies. Each day presents unique challenges and tasks, which may include:
- Participating in study team meetings
- Training site personnel, either remotely or in person
- Managing communications via email
- Traveling to various locations across the US to monitor data and site activities
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific or healthcare-related discipline, or equivalent certification
- A minimum of 3 years of Clinical Research Coordinator experience or at least 1 year as a Clinical Research Associate
- At least 1 year of direct patient care or clinical research experience
- Familiarity with clinical research methodologies and study development
- Valid Driver's License
- Combination of education and experience may be considered
- Demonstrates behaviors that align with the mission and values of Castle Biosciences
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Monday to Friday; remote work from home; travel required approximately 60% to 80% of the time.
