Faculty Position in Surgical Oncology

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Oncologist to join our Division of Surgical Oncology at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in minimally invasive approaches to GI malignancy, including hepato-pancreato-biliary and foregut malignancies. A strong clinical interest in cytoreductive surgery/HIPEC and the surgical management of soft tissue malignancies is also essential.

The successful candidate will have completed an ACGME-approved Surgical Oncology fellowship and be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in General Surgery and Surgical Oncology. A commitment to clinical excellence, teaching, scholarly activity, and institutional service is expected.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work in a multi-specialty surgical service with a strong research program. The Department of Surgery has developed active research programs through collaborations with the Burn Shock Trauma Institute and the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center. Research funding is derived from various sources, and the Department has two NIH-training grants.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Surgical Oncology physician to join the faculty of Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and contribute to the advancement of surgical oncology.
