About the Job

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering individualized programs of physical therapy to maximize patients' progress towards achieving functional goals.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the importance of maintaining a positive working relationship with other healthcare professionals and ancillary staff, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provides direct patient care, evaluates functional needs, and consults with specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Designs and implements personalized plans of care for patients, incorporating participation by significant others whenever necessary.
  • Conducts therapy practice within defined standards of care, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Directs the assistance of support staff to achieve patients' functional goals, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Communicates effectively with other professionals and support staff to promote positive patient outcomes, enhancing overall care delivery.
  • Practices hospital and departmental policies, objectives, quality improvement program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards, ensuring compliance and adherence.
  • Documents evaluations, treatment goals, and plans regularly, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, in-service meetings, and workshops, staying current on professional literature.
  • Provides direction and leadership to staff, promoting physical therapy in the community and acting as a resource for colleagues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Knowledge and skills to care for the physical and developmental needs of diverse patient populations.
  • Ability to remain calm in emergency or crisis situations, demonstrating composure and professionalism.
Benefits
  • A competitive salary range of $50-$55 per hour.
  • An estimated annual salary of $104,000 based on 40 hours per week.

Location

Caduceus USA is seeking candidates who are willing to commute to Atlanta, GA (Preferred) and able to travel 25% (Preferred). The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in-person.
