Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our team at Med Center Health. As a key member of our Radiation Oncology department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and safety in our treatment equipment and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quality assurance testing and calibrations on all radiotherapy simulation and treatment equipment.
  • Review patient records and dosimetry calculations, and perform SRS and HDR treatment planning.
  • Advise radiation oncologists, therapists, and dosimetrists on technical aspects of patient treatments.
  • Participate in weekly Physics/Dosimetry meetings and continuous quality improvement activities.
  • Provide physics support for selected simulation and treatment activities, including HDR Brachytherapy Planning and treatment oversight.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Medical Physics required.
  • Board Eligible or certified by the American Board of Medical Physics or the American Board of Radiology as a Physicist required.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Physicist preferred.
