Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity in Plainfield, IL

Soliant Health is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Plainfield, IL. As a Speech Language Pathologist with Soliant Health, you will be instrumental in helping students enhance their communication abilities, improve their academic performance, and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough evaluations of students' speech and language skills to identify areas of strength and weakness.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students, including one-on-one sessions and group therapy.
- Track and document students' progress and make necessary adjustments to therapy plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' educational goals and provide a comprehensive support system.
- Attend IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and modifications to ensure students receive the support they need.
- Stay updated on the latest practices and advancements in speech-language pathology to provide the highest level of care and support.
- Active or pending state Speech Language Pathologist license in Illinois.
- ASHA certification is a plus but not required.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, teachers, and parents.
- Ability to effectively manage a caseload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
