Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg Float Pool team at vTech Solution, Inc. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a strong nursing background and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to adult and older adult populations on various med surg floors, including the new 5A Surgical ACE unit.
  • Float to all med surg floors, including new units and specialty areas, as needed.
  • Administer medications, including heparin drips, as ordered by physicians.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Experience working in a med surg environment, preferably with a float pool or rapid response team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs), including EPIC.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with geriatric populations and patients with complex medical needs.
  • Knowledge of specialty equipment, such as gait belts and geriatric chairs.
  • Previous experience with NICHE training and prior experience in skilled nursing or rehab settings.
