Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the CT Imaging Department at the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized CT imaging procedures under general supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute basic clinical competence in CT, in all locations, across all patient types.
  • Select accurate technical factors on an individual patient basis and demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient.
  • Administer contrast according to facility policy and adhere to Joint Commission, State, Federal, organizational, and departmental regulatory compliance standards.
  • Document accurate patient care activity in various electronic health records systems and maintain a safe and appropriate work environment.
Requirements
  • Associates degree or Certificate in radiologic technology from a program accredited by an agency recognized by the US Department of Education or Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
  • Registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) (R) and Licensed Radiographer/State of Maryland.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification.
