About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled High School Special Education Teacher to join our team in a school district near Riverside, CA. This is a permanent hire position with opportunities for growth and development.


Job Summary

This High School Special Education Teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of students with special needs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other educators, parents, and support staff.


Responsibilities
  • Create and implement IEPs tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with special needs
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that promote student learning and progress
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and alignment with district standards
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in special education teaching. A bachelor's degree in special education or a related field is also required. Additionally, candidates should possess a valid teaching certification and demonstrate expertise in adapting instructional strategies to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.


Benefits
