The staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame. The RN provides care to these patients via the therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and other healthcare team members. In addition, the staff RN contributes to the management of the unit by monitoring unit activities and developing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality patient care through the application of the nursing process and collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Monitor and report patient progress to the healthcare team, making adjustments to care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of employment or compact.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer knowledge and experience with electronic medical records (EMRs).
