Job Summary

As a Fresh Food Associate at Walmart, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have access to high-quality products in our deli, bakery, meat, and other departments. Your responsibilities will include:

Main Responsibilities

  • Assisting customers in finding the products they need and ensuring they have a positive shopping experience
  • Packing and stocking ready-to-sell products in proper containers and maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment
  • Preparing and serving ready-to-eat food, including ordering and fulfilling deli orders
  • Checking and maintaining temperature control, verifying dates, and disposing of lesser quality food products
  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
