Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Soliant. As an SLP, you will work with students from Kindergarten through 12th grade, providing comprehensive speech and language services to enhance their communication skills and overall academic success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) for students, tailored to their unique needs and goals.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy and intervention services for students with speech and language impairments, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress, share knowledge, and coordinate services.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and school district policies.
  • IEP Meetings and Goal Development: Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to the development of student goals, and monitor progress towards achieving those goals.
  • Progress Monitoring and Intervention Adjustment: Regularly monitor and track student progress, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid Maine State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with school-aged children is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a school setting.
