Diesel Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Staffinders. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations
  • Diagnose and repair complex problems with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and other equipment
  • Use specialized tools and equipment to perform repairs and maintenance
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks and projects
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year of experience in diesel mechanics or a related field
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
  • Manual dexterity and hand tool skills
  • Basic knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
