About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Professional to join our team at GEO Corrections & Detentions. As a key member of our outpatient mental health program, you will be responsible for providing a full range of mental health services to inmates, detainees, and residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct mental health interviews, screenings, and evaluations to determine appropriate mental health services and treatment plans.
  • Provide supportive mental health services, including brief individual counseling, group counseling, and specialty group counseling.
  • Develop and implement case management services to ensure continuity of ongoing service delivery.
  • Prepare all related mental health documentation in accordance with applicable organizational and state standards.
  • Consult with Security, Medical, Classification, and other departments as needed in I/D/R related mental health concerns.
  • Respond to psychological emergencies and provide crisis intervention as required.
Requirements
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health related field.
  • State licensure as a Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Mental Health Professional, or Mental Health Counselor.
  • One year experience providing mental health services in an institutional setting is preferred.
