PHP Therapist

The PHP Therapist is a critical member of our clinical team, providing therapeutic services to youth and families in our PHP program. This hourly position offers benefits and requires a strong foundation in evidence-based practices, including DBT skills and other therapeutic modalities.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate group, individual, and family therapy sessions, utilizing a range of therapeutic interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to SDCC protocols and Joint Commission requirements.
- Collaborate with the PHP manager and clinical team to ensure seamless care coordination and effective treatment planning.
- Conduct initial assessments, risk assessments, and safety planning, as well as discharge planning and case management.
- Provide training and mentorship to trainees, ensuring a smooth transition into the PHP program.
- Master's degree from an accredited university.
- Valid California Driver's License (CDL).
- Registration number issued by the State of California oversight board for the relevant license (ASW/LCSW, AMFT/LMFT, APCC/LPCC, PhD or PsyD).
- Experience working with youth and families, with a focus on PHP, IOP, or higher levels of care.
- Training in evidence-based practices, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Family Engagement and Family Therapy.
- Current license issued by the State of California oversight board for the relevant license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, PhD or PsyD).
- Interest and training in diversity, inclusion, equity, and action, as well as cultural adaptations to evidence-based treatments.
- Experience mentoring or training clinical support staff/trainees.
