We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team at Nucor Steel Auburn, Inc. in Auburn, NY.

The successful candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of electrical principles and practical experience as it relates to the electrical maintenance function.

As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for providing electrical support to production crews, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and automation systems.

You will also work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, vacation coverage, and holidays, and must be willing to demonstrate a commitment to safety at all times.

To be considered for this role, you must have a two-year degree, successful completion of electrical trade school, or a minimum of three years industrial electrical experience.

Preferred qualifications include knowledge of automation and networking equipment and processes, overhead crane repair experience, and basic pneumatic and hydraulic system knowledge.
