About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Laundry Operations Specialist to join our team at Healthcare Services Group, Inc. As a Laundry Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities by processing and delivering linens to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, sort, and load soiled linens into washers and clean linens into dryers
  • Fold and count linens, and record processing data
  • Deliver linens to units in a timely and efficient manner
  • Clean and sanitize the laundry area, including equipment and work surfaces
  • Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols to prevent injury and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
