About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Part-Time School Bus Driver to join our team at First Student. As a Part-Time School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, ensuring their well-being and safety throughout the journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a school bus in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
  • Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a smooth and safe transportation experience.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Subject to a drug screen and physical.
  • Subject to DOT drug testing.
What We Offer
  • Starting pay of $25.00/hour.
  • $3,000 sign-on bonus.
  • Paid CDL training.
  • Additional hours available for extra charter routes.
