In this role, the Program Manager will oversee the execution and management of projects associated with Renaissance's new Medicaid and Commercial Health Plan contracts. This position requires collaboration with internal department leaders and our Health Plan partners, focusing on strategic problem-solving, data analysis, risk management, and quality assurance to ensure timely and effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of new health plans across the organization, managing multiple program modifications for existing plans simultaneously.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans using appropriate management tools, serving as the primary contact for internal teams and Health Plan clients.
  • Create and maintain essential resources, timelines, work plans, and progress reports for the successful execution of new Health Plan accounts.
  • Evaluate any proposed changes to implementation plans for their impact on timelines and resources, ensuring necessary approvals from governance committees.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with all levels of staff within the organization and the Health Plan client's operations to facilitate successful implementations.
  • Define project scope and objectives, engaging all relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility and adherence to project timelines.
  • Work closely with project sponsors to ensure compliance with federal, state, and health plan requirements, ensuring accuracy and measurability.
  • Manage multiple tasks and address project-related escalations to meet client expectations and timelines, employing problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Conduct quality audits of deliverables and system setups, including required reporting for Health Plans.
  • Identify, monitor, and resolve project challenges while performing risk assessments and developing contingency plans.
  • Implement process improvement initiatives during and after each project, collaborating with department heads to enhance quality quarterly.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of relevant Program Management experience; a suitable combination of education, training, or experience will be considered.
  • Preferred experience in the healthcare sector.
  • Familiarity with Managed Care, Medicaid, and Commercial Health Plans.
  • Strong skills in relationship building.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks with shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficient in interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication, with a proven track record of delivering presentations to management and internal stakeholders.
