We are seeking a passionate Bartender to deliver an exceptional cocktail experience to our members and guests. This role involves crafting both classic and innovative beverages that not only meet but exceed our members' expectations. A solid understanding of mixology is essential, as the Bartender will be responsible for preparing, serving, and presenting both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, all while adhering to the club's Gold Standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

Foster a warm and inviting atmosphere for members and guests. Key responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting the bar area prior to opening to ensure sufficient supplies are available.
  • Requesting and stocking additional supplies as needed.
  • Following established setup procedures.
  • Preparing garnishes, fruit mixes, and pre-mixed drinks before bar opening.
  • Welcoming members and guests.
  • Mixing, preparing, and serving beverages according to approved recipes.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the bar area and equipment.
  • Ensuring proper storage, labeling, dating, and rotation of food items to prevent health hazards.
  • Serving drinks to members and guests at lounge tables when a beverage server is unavailable.
  • Expressing gratitude to members and guests and encouraging their return.
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Applicants must demonstrate the ability to comprehend job assignments, including proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in both English and Spanish. Additional qualifications include:

  • Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Possession of a valid Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) Certification.
  • Valid Texas Food Handler Certification.
  • Current Driver License or Identification.
  • A minimum of three years of bartending experience.
