Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Centers for Advanced Urology. As a key member of our Radiation Oncology team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe and effective administration of radiation therapy treatments.

• Administer daily prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients with accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient use, adhering to department policies and procedures.
• Monitor patients for unusual reactions and report any concerns to the Clinical Director and Radiation Oncologist.
• Maintain current knowledge of therapeutic procedures and equipment function to provide minor repair and troubleshooting services.
• Record radiation oncology charges and maintain accurate records of machine downtime and fault reports.

• One year certificate from college or technical school in Radiation Therapy certified by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Certified by American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (AART) and American Society of Radiologic Technologist (ASRT).
• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred.
• License and certification as required by state.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year certificate from college or technical school in Radiation Therapy certified by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
