Job Opportunity

ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our school-based team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in helping students develop effective communication skills and overcome speech and language challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct speech and language assessments to determine students' needs and progress.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Provide one-on-one and/or group therapy sessions to students in various settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to provide progress updates and strategies for support at home.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and therapy sessions.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress reporting.
Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred but not required.
  • Experience working in a school setting or with school-aged children is a plus.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
